This artist’s studio, designed by architect Melissa Spenser, makes excellent use of previously wasted space at the rear of the residential block with laneway access. The design captures sunlight while preserving valuable garden space and retaining privacy.

The studios recycled brick walls support a fresco finish, applied by the artist/client, complimented by a crafted timber kitchen by Damien Wright, creating a truely artful space.
